Abrham is the Chairman of Bahir Dar Kenema Sports club and is a public administrator with experience in culture, tourism, youth and sport filed. He is excellent at , public relations, event organizations, and marketing. He has a BA in Tourism Management from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia and a Masters in master of public administrations from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Abraham is currently the Executive Head of the Youth and Sport Department, Bahir Dar City at the Amhara National Regional State. He has previously held positions at the regional level.

Abraham Assefa is also involved in a number of different organizations and committees, Including Bahir Dar Kenema Sport Club and Bahir Dar Model Youth Center executive chairperson. He is the recipient of numerous awards during his service as a city culture tourism youth and sport department executive head.
